Financial Aid at LHS
LHS is committed to making a Lutheran High School education not just a possibility, but a reality for your family. While the initial thought of paying tuition for high school is frightening to some, we want to encourage you to consider the possibilities and step out in faith. We are generally able to work with families when necessary to make our high quality education available to those who seek it. Through needs-based financial aid, including Indiana Choice Scholarships, and various discounts, many families find that a private, Christian education is within reach.
These are some methods used to provide financial aid for families attending LHS:
LUTHERAN HIGH SCHOOL FINANCIAL AID
LHS offers needs-based tuition assistance to those families who qualify through an application process. The company FACTS assists us in determining the need for aid for families. The FACTS application is completed online and will be available in January. The application fee is $40.00 and may be paid online when submitting your application.
*Please note: The FACTS application must be completed for each year of enrollment and requires copies of your tax documents from the previous year. Once your FACTS application is submitted and verified (all supporting documents received), the LHS financial committee will review your application and contact you with regard to aid available.
INDIANA CHOICE SCHOLARSHIP

THE LUTHERAN SCHOLARSHIP GRANTING ORGANIZATION
The Lutheran Scholarship Granting Organization (LSGO) is designed to provide needs-based financial assistance to families wishing to enroll their children in a Lutheran school. Families completing a FACTS application and qualifying for LHS financial aid will automatically be considered for an LSGO. LHS financial aid may be fully or partially funded from the LSGO monies. (This award does not increase the amount of assistance to the student.)
LUTHERAN HIGH SCHOOL DISCOUNTS
In addition to financial aid, there are several discounts that apply to many of the students at LHS. Our financial aid committee will work very hard to ensure that you receive any and all discounts that you are eligible for.
LUTHERAN CHURCH ASSOCIATION DISCOUNT
Students who are members of a Greater Indianapolis Association Lutheran church may receive a discount toward tuition. Verification from the congregation needs to be acquired by March 29, 2024. For the 2024-2025 school year, this discount is $1,200.

ASSOCIATION CHURCH WORKER DISCOUNT
The Association Church Worker Discount of Lutheran High School is designed to provide financial assistance to full-time Association church worker families with students enrolled at the high school. The deadline for this discount is March 29, 2024. Church Worker Discount
SIBLING DISCOUNT
The tuition sibling discount is awarded to families with multiple students. The second student is awarded a fifteen percent discount. The third student is awarded a thirty percent discount. Etc.
