The 18th Annual Lutheran High Golf Outing presented by Service Pipe and Supply is at the Maple Creek Golf and Country Club Saturday, October 2.
Play in the morning in the Saints Mini – a 9 hole Mixed Doubles Foursome event with an 8:00 am tee time. Lunch is at 10:45. At 12:00 noon, the 18 hole Scramble begins, with Hole in One prizes for each par 3 hole. Prizes include $5,000 (half to the school/half to the golfer) and a $2,500 tuition credit.
The Church challenge is back again this year. Calvary is the defending champ for bringing the most golfers to the 2009 Outing. Who will take home the trophy in 2010?

Morgan Lewis is Miss Softball! |

Congratulations to recent graduate Morgan Lewis,
who has been named Indiana's 2010 Miss Softball!
 Morgan received this honor at the Indiana All-Star Classic, played at Ben Davis on Saturday, June 26. It is the first time a player from a Class A school has been named Miss Softball.
Morgan recently was awarded the Class A Softball Mental Attitude Award at the State Final (pictured) and has been named the Indiana Gatorade Player of the Year and the Marion County Player of the Year. She will play softball on scholarship for the University of Tennessee-Martin next year.

Saints Family Protection Plan |

God knows what the future holds for each of us – however, since the parents of the student Saints can’t see the future – we are pleased to introduce the Saints Family Protection Plan.
It’s the mission of Lutheran High School to prepare young adults for a Christian life while providing academic excellence in a Christ centered environment. That mission continues no matter which way the economic winds are blowing, and we stand with parents in helping their students get the education they seek.
The loss of a job is a frightening thing that can create economic, personal, and even psychological hardships.
But while your son or daughter is enrolled at Lutheran High School, if you lose your job, you do not need to worry about how you are going to keep them here.
